- Designed to measure saturation effects of power inductors and bias effects on capacitors.
- Supports high bandwidth with high DC current injection—unlike standard bias-tees.
- Enables evaluation of decoupling/bias inductors in RF power amplifiers or EMC filters under realistic bias conditions.
- Allows injection of high DC currents (up to ~10 A) into a 50 Ω RF signal path.
- RF insertion loss is independent of the injected DC current, preserving measurement accuracy across bias levels.
TBBT01
High Current Bias-Tee
The TBBT01 High Current Bias-Tee is a specialized device for measuring the saturation effects of power inductors and the effects of bias voltage on capacitors under real operating conditions. Unlike typical low-frequency bias-tees, it supports both high bandwidth and high current injection, making it suitable for evaluating RF power amplifier decoupling inductors, bias inductors, and EMC filter components under load. The device injects DC bias current into an RF signal path while preserving wideband RF performance.
