Safran’s CDM Family of clock distribution modules are PCIe cards that provide 10MHz and 1PPS signals for up to seven devices that need tight and precise synchronization. The clock distribution module is ideal for PCIe-based Software-Defined Radios (SDR) installed in rack-mount or desktop PCs, and can also be used for any other applications that require a precise PC-based timing reference.

  • Timing and frequency source with 5-way or 7-way distribution of 10MHz and 1PPS signals.
  • PCIe form factor for rack-mount or desktop PC.
  • Multiple operating modes: internal clock (OCXO), external clock (10MHz and 1PPS), Synchronous External, or Asynchronous External.
  • Supports standalone operation with 12V DC power supply.
Industry’s smallest package 2.5x2.0mm (DSC1124D).
Maximum integration Industry’s only MEMS based PCIe clock generator with up to 4 outputs (DSC557-05).
No external 25MHz crystal needed.
Superior jitter performance vs PCIe Gen 1.1, 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 >50% lower Jitter than : PCIe 4.0 specification.
Industrial temperature range -40 to 85°C -40 to 105°C and automotive available in Q2 18.
Supports spread spectrum clock EMI reduction (PL607xxx).
OE pins to enable Disable individual clock output.
Offers both Off-the-shelf and customizable products 100 MHz HCSL output for off-the-shelf product. CMOS, LVDS and LVPECL outputs available through customization.
