Drill and Tap Set

This drill and tap set is used to precisely machine the concentric holes needed for mounting V Connectors® in housings. This is the kit to use when you are NOT using stress relief contacts (also known as sliding contacts). If you are using V110-1 stress relief contacts to make connections to your microcircuit, order the 01-308 Drill & Tap Set instead.

Allows all concentric holes to be drilled simultaneously using a mill
Intended for use on soft metals such as aluminum or brass
Also can be used on stainless steel at very low feed rates
Center hole is sized to maintain proper characteristic impedance when sliding contacts are NOT used

Includes a drill (part number 783-568) and a tap (part number 783-569)
Allows all concentric holes to be drilled at once using a milling machine
Intended for soft metals like aluminum or brass; stainless steel is workable at very low feed rates
Center hole is sized to preserve the proper characteristic impedance when sliding contacts are not used
